Busan fireworks festival: weather, clothes and transport

For a large waterfront fireworks event, the return journey and wind-resistant layers matter as much as the daytime temperature. Only treat the date as confirmed when the current organiser publishes it.

What to wear by the water

Expect the waterfront to feel cooler after sunset, especially in wind. Use a warm base, a removable mid-layer and an outer layer that blocks wind. Comfortable closed shoes are useful when standing or walking for a long time.

Plan the journey home first

Large events can bring road controls, crowded stations and long waits. Check the official venue and transport notice, choose a station or route before arrival, and save a backup route and accommodation address offline.

Confirm the event, then book

Past-year dates are not proof of the current schedule. Confirm the date, viewing rules, ticket or free-zone arrangements and cancellation notices through the organiser or city before making a non-refundable booking around the festival.
